Why should patients choose you as their provider over others?
Every person is unique, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to treatment – We all experience pain differently. With 20 years of work experience in both conventional and corporate settings, Shyni understands the physical and mental toll that long hours and high-pressure environments can take. Drawing from this firsthand knowledge, she uses specialized massage techniques designed to target the specific tension and stress commonly felt in office environments and daily life, tailoring each session to meet the individual needs of her patients.
What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?
– lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy and myofascial release
What are you most proud of in your practice?
Above all, I’m proud of the bold decision to transition from the business world into this profession. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of helping people who’ve dealt with chronic pain from repetitive work, as well as those suffering from more serious injuries or conditions stemming from accidents or birth. The most rewarding part of my work is hearing patients share how treatments have brought them tremendous relief—restoring mobility and function they thought were lost. Knowing that I’ve played a role in their healing journey fills me with immense pride.
Which cases do you enjoy treating and why?
Massage therapy has always been my passion, but life didn’t allow me to pursue it until 2020. Now that I’m finally doing what I love, I’m constantly fascinated by the complexity of the human body and how I can help restore its balance. I work at multiple clinics with diverse patient populations, from homemakers to athletes, and each case challenges me to apply both my formal education and life experiences to help my patients. I take pride in helping them not only manage daily activities without pain but also return to hobbies or sports they had to set aside due to discomfort. Witnessing patients regain their ability to live life more fully—whether that’s returning to physical activities or simply feeling better day-to-day—gives me a deep sense of fulfillment that I couldn’t have imagined in my previous career.
