Adelaide | Dr. Yi Liu, DC, RMT
Yi believes in using exercise as a tool outside of the clinic to help his patients. His foundation as a competitive athlete and his years of experience as a personal trainer allows him to help patients optimize their well being with functional rehabilitation and prehabilitation exercises. As a medic for the Ontario Soccer Association, he has treated a variety of acute and chronic injuries during soccer matches. Yi Liu works with everyday office workers and national level athletes to live pain-free and achieve their fitness goals.
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
Yi has been in the health industry for the past 6 years, working with a variety of clients as a personal trainer, coach, and RMT. He assesses people from a different perspective with the main goal of getting them to feel better and find out more about their body that they didn’t know before.
What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?
Yi specializes in restoring proper function to the injured area and its associated structures. He uses cranial therapy, pelvic blocking, and patient-centric rehabilitation to prevent recurrence of symptoms.
What are you proud of in your practice?
Yi is most proud of seeing patients leave the clinic with an overall improvement to their quality of life and functional health. He loves to see athletes get stronger and compete unencumbered by injuries.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I see my all patients as unique puzzles to solve. I enjoy the challenge of diagnosing the root of my patient’s issue. From there I put a treatment plan in place so that my patient can be pain-free without recurring injuries or symptoms.
