Yonge & St Clair | Zach Olesinski, RAc
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
Zach’s education and diverse clinical experience allows him to treat a variety of health conditions. Unlike other forms of acupuncture, Zach practices a unique style of Japanese abdominal (“Hara”) diagnosis and acupuncture that provides patients with direct feedback as to the changes occurring during the treatment. These treatments address the underlying cause of the condition, enabling optimal healing.
What are the top 3 treatments that you specialize in?
Zach’s treatments primarily consist of Japanese style acupuncture and moxibustion (the burning of the herb mugwort to increase circulation, blood flow and reduce inflammation). Zach also uses a variety of manual therapy techniques such as myofascial release and ASTR (active soft tissue release) while working with pain related conditions.
What are you proud of in your practice?
I pride myself on providing each patient with individualized care. This means discovering the underlying causes of your health concerns, which is unique to you. It is my goal to develop a comprehensive assessment of your condition. This is done through evaluations of all aspects of your health, creating the most effective treatment plan possible. Post diagnosis and treatment, I hope to instill ways for you to take control of your health using self care methods. It is my goal to work with you to rediscover what optimal health means to you.
