Yonge & Wellington | Frank (Haifeng) Yu, RMT
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
Actually, all qualified healthcare professionals should be considered satisfactory for the profession expectations, and I do not like the idea to consider I am in any way ‘better’ than any of my peers. I have been in healthcare professions for many years so I am able to engage with patients compassionately and develop a patient-centered treatment plan with them. But massage therapy is a profession where art meets science, and different therapists have different approaches to the same condition. If you are a new patient who has not much experience with massage therapy, I actually suggest you try a few different RMTs and figure out which works for you the best.
What are the top 3 treatments that you specialize in?
I am interested in and specialize in sport-related injury treatments. More specifically, joint mobilization, trigger point treatment and myofascial release to name three.
What are you proud of in your practice?
I am proud of my practice when I provide direct patient care and can witness their health condition improving.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I am passionate to treat specific and complex sport-related injuries.
