Shel is an avid marathoner of 20+ years, competed in World Marathon Majors in Tokyo, Chicago, Berlin, as well as the Antarctica Marathon and 90km ultra marathon in South Africa. His sports injuries and successful recovery from them have led him to pursue a career in health care.

Being an athlete has helped him gain an in-depth understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics, he is dedicated to helping people alleviate pain and stress, recover from injuries and preventative maintenance.

What are you proud of in your practice?
Shel loves seeing the positive impact that massage therapy has on everyone’s physical and mental health, whether it is helping them progress in injury recovery or simply alleviate daily stress, it is extremely rewarding.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
Shel enjoys treating a variety of cases as each provides a unique learning experience, including rehabilitation of muscular injuries, postural imbalance and desk job related back and neck pain. Shel is passionate about treating each client specific to their needs, strive to make a positive impact with each massage.
